Now that's a collection into which I could sink my teeth and money! It certainly would take all the worry out of bidding and winning.

it was a .99 cent start auction with no reserve so thats a true auction there. Everytime I see a lot like that I think "I wonder how many VAM's are in there" I guess I just got it bad when all I can think of are VAM's when I see coins

Bryan, like you, I watch these Morgan collection lots and other lots which contain Morgans to see if there's anything special within. If I see something, I'll make a benefit-cost analysis to see if the one coin (sometimes two) is worth buying the entire collection. In all instances, the answer has been "No" with one exception: about 2 1/2+ years ago, I bought a 26-coin Morgan collection, all raw with a tempting number of Carson City mintmarks in apparent AU or Mint State. The key coin was an 1889CC in what appeared to be EF or AU condition. After quizzing the seller who seemed quite open and honest (he was not certain if the 89CC had been cleaned) and after receiving satisfactory answers, I put in a snipe and won the collection. I promptly sent the whole works off to PCGS and waited (and waited and waited). Only one came back in a bodybag - the 89CC, of course ("cleaned"), but I was very pleasantly surprised to find a couple others graded higher than either the seller or I had anticipated. (This was before PCGS started "readjusting" its population report curves on Morgans.) I resold the 89CC listing it as "cleaned" along with most of the other now slabbed Morgans and easily recovered my investment and grading fees while keeping those I wanted for my collection. It turned out the seller and I became friends and I've bought more Morgans from him. Bottom line was it was a gamble which paid off. I still watch the collections with the hope that something might be in there to make it worth my while to bid. Almost always, most of these have one key coin of usually dubious quality with the rest being throwaways of no especial value.
