Northside: In my opinion this is just their way of blowing you off... they were probably ordering in twonies for you which is a cost. Banks don't like to incur costs FOR their customers.. they like to incur fees FROM their customers...

Today the manager told me I cant order any more boxes from them, No if-ands-or butts....

Seems your bank must be a smaller branch that does not hold enough volume of loonies or toonies for you to search. and has been ordering them from their currency centre and then likely has to ship the boxes back after you deposit what you've searched.

My advise would be to go to a larger "main" branch that carries a larger volume of coin and buy it for f/v there. You don't need to be a customer to buy coin, you'd just want to find a bank with the excess quantities on hand.

I was shocked...some of the tellers asked me to bring a few errors in to show them...so I did (I like to show them off) and a minute later the manager comes up to me and says the order I placed earlier this week has been cancelled and I can no longer order because of their system change blahhhblahhhblahhhhh....yaa okk.

This branch is one of the larger TD's in Hamilton ONT.

I'll get my coins from a different bank then unload them all into this banks coin deposit machine..fill that sucker up weekly..muahhmuahh

The only catch, I'm currently a student (I'm 22 trying to finish teachers college) so the bank fees are minimal..I'll see if any other banks offer a similar service for now

Northside: I have a no fee TD account.... TD is my "dump bank" because of their change machine... and I seriously use it... with my TD account I'm allowed 1-2 withdrawals... but unlimited deposits... so off all the nickles and dimes and quarters go!

I also have an RBC and a credit union account and at those banks I have made very good friends with some of the commercial tellers and they treat me very VERY well... some will even call me when interesting items come in...

P.S. good luck with teacher's college... I'm a P.E. teacher and love every single day of it! The Ed degree I didn't enjoy .. (found it to be a LOT of "fluff") but the job is incredible.
