I have alot of ASEs in its original packages.

You guys think I should move them all into air-tight BCW cases wrapped with pastic to preserve it from toning? (See pics)

Thanks guys! How do you guys store/protect your silver?

Can't help with the storage question, will leave that to the pro's really ,I would guess to protect it from air, you would have to seal it somehow, use maybe silica gel granules, vacuuming etc, I would think there is lots of ways that this is done.

I have one Question though.
Why would one want to protect the silver from the natural toning process, is that not one of the attributes that make the coins more desirable?.
Or does that entirely depend from person to person and from coin type/grade to coin type/grade?.

I use Airtites these holders are manufactured from acrylic plastic with a non-yellowing agent producing a highly durable, crystal clear cover and base that snap together. The rings are made of an inert cross linked polyethylene. Than store in Rubbermaid containers.

I think the natural toning process depends on the person. I don't like mine toned any other color besides the natural silver color.
