Yet another token I found in the collection from my late grandfather. This one I've been able to find nothing about; not sure if it's a local token from Tiffin, Ohio (my hometown) or a larger city. Anyways on what I would call the obverse it says "If You Get Sick Use Dr. Bennett's Medicines" and on the reverse it says "500 000 Persons Annually Cured By Dr. Bennett's Medicines." This token is text only and no date on it but it appears to be quite old. Again I don't have a camera to post any pictures so hopefully someone will know which token I am referring to. Thanks again everyone.

Most varieties of this token are relatively common. Chances are good that you can spot one on ebay if you do a search. It's considered to be an 1863 issue. The tie-in with patent medicines make this a fairly popular item, given what one could call cross-appeal. Also, it would be desireable to "Tiffinites" and CWT collectors in general. Neat item. You might see if you could find some advertisements by Dr. Bennett.
