Ok, so here's a new nickel. On the rim, there seems to be a spot "missing" (queen side about 1 o'clock) does that make it anymore valuable? Also, this nickel kinda looks like it has a double die (the A) I didn't even notice it at first until I scanned it. Is that what it is?

Thanks!

possibly a filled die at the mint- the raised dots come from depressions in the die at the mint, if they get filled with grease or even cleaning solution, the design will not strike up properly. Probably not worth a premium. The doubling is not supposed to exist- the mint has presses that are not supposed to bounce, making "doubled dies" by bouncing a thing of the past. Emphasize supposedly.
