Just seen these on TV, was wondering if they will be worth picking up?

Has anyone bought these?

I don't know what you are talking about, do you have a link? If it's being sold on TV, however, I would guess that it is not worth buying lol.

Aaaaack! Stay away from that! If you want $2 bills with similar images, go to the bank and then let some pre-schoolers draw on them, and then after that, line the birdcage, after that add them to a mulch pile. After that (wait 6 months) then frame them. Let us know how they compare. Your result may look nicer than theirs.

Well I for one am relieved that it wasn't the Obama note. I found it very ironic that his likeness would be on any currency that was meant to be SAVED. Spending is more his style!

Seriously though, can something like that actually appreciate over time? I suppose it still would be considered valid US currency. I mean I have drawn enough funny faces on good ol' George and I spent all of them. Come to think of it... mine looked better than the Obama note too!

This should not be able to happen. Lots of people are taken advantage of with these so called collectibles. They buy them, find out they were duped into spending $10+ for something that will never be worth more than two dollars, and then they don't want anything else to do with the hobby.

Actually I believe it was $10 buy one get one free so $5 per note, but even so your right as a general statement.

I have a few of those colorized State Quarters they sold on TV. No I didn't buy them I just got 4 or 5 in change one day. I keep them but I don't kid myself into thinking they will ever be worth more than .10 cents

*Edit* Oh and the fact that someone who paid top dollar for them spent them tells you how much they thought they were worth!
