Quote: that first one sure looks nicer than AU-55  Must be the slight wear on the shield (and a hit in the left date area), but dang that's a stunner for AU-55! That was a high-MS coin before its brief tour in circulation... That reverse looks 58 to me, at least from the pics...

The first SLQ looks better to me than the second one. I wonder if $100.00 in the "Make An Offer" would get it.

Suppose you did a second mortgage behind your wife's back and got either one of this, would you crack it open to put it in the album? I am working on an album but never know if or when I can get a 1916.

I don't even know if I could buy that coin off ebay. I would be to skeptical of the good fakes out there. I would want it in hand. Or one heck of a good return policy.
