I think it's odd that a 1901-s
Barber quarter is posted in a lot like this. It should have been sold separately and sent off for authentication. I mean seriously, this is THE key date of commonly circulating coins of the 20th century! Even with the heavy circulation, it would not be far off from 5 figure territory. This would qualify as THE
ebay "junk lot" find of the year imho.
I picked up a dateless 16 slq from the same seller, but it seems more plausible that those may have been overlooked. This seller is truly a wild card, you just never know what may pop up in those lots of his. I wish I knew who the max bidder was so we could follow through and see if this coin is truly genuine...cuz he'd take the crown!
