After 6 years of searching I thing I found a nice 1925 2 Kronur from Iceland. The best one I have come across yet. I'm hoping it would grade a AU-50 or better, This coin is so very hard to find in anything better then a VF conition. I got this coin from a Bruun Rasmussen auction in Denmark this past Sunday. The lot had a few other Icelandic coins and a bunch of Danish commeratives that I don't want so if any of you are interested in the Danish coins you can PM me with a offer.
Here is a link to the auction house with a photo of the lot.

In a bulk lot no less. Nice grab. The crown appears to have some good detail on it. Any idea what the reverse looks like?

I find the Faroe Island token intriguing too.

Hi snowman how's everything
No, I have no idea what the other side of the 2 kronur looks like. I'm hoping it looks as good as the side that is showing and yes that Fareo Island token does look good. Do you have any Idea what that token may be worth?

As far as I can tell that 1 Krone retails for around $10-20.

From Wikipedia:

"Due to a shortage of currency in 1929-33, two merchants issued their own coins as well; J.F. Kjølbro in Klaksvík and S.P. Petersens Eftf in Fuglafjørður. The Kjølbro issue is aluminium coins with denominations of 10, 25 and 50 øre, and 1, 2, 5, and 10 kroner."

Well I got the lot about two weeks ago and that coin didn't look no way as good when I held it in my hands, They must have used some kind of scanner that left a lot of the surface detail out from the coin it self so I sent it back to them for a refund. well a few days after the auction I got a email from the coin club in Iceland with the list of coins and metals that was in the monthly auction for September 5th and the second coin on the list was a 1925 2 Kronur in 01 condition which means its a EX-Fine to AU. So a friend of mine send me the picture of the coin and asked him to bid on it for me since I'm here in the U.S. Well to make a long story short I won the coin and here is a picture of it.
