most collectors I have met try to treat others the way they would like to be treated if they were in the other persons shoes. I have only met 2 or 3 that didn't act this way and they were all about what they could get no matter how they got it but it seems those people always seem to lose more than they ever gained by cheating and swindling others. I am glad you got your coin back and also glad you decided to give him a reward for being honest (even though the truly honest needs no reward besides their clear conscience). I don't think I would have been to worried about if the coin had been touched because I think just having faith in my fellow man would be payment enough since it would have been me who messed up anyway and if the person wasn't honest I woudnt have gotten it back anyway

I tried very hard to get good obverse pics but could not. When we took them close up, they turned out ugly and the coin looked dull with some tiny spots near the top hugely exaggerated. I stuck with the far away pictures, but the original thread photos portray the general look much better. The reverse pictures, however, turned out nice.
