None for me personally, but I am curious as to their service and the outcome. Please keep us posted on your experience.

NCS is usually pretty good. If it can be fixed, they can do it.
We have had good success with them.
Good Luck

What sorts of things can they fix CEO? What (specifically) have been among your more memorable experiences with them? The only coins I have seen slabbed by them are labeled 'improperly cleaned' or 'damaged'. Am I only seeing their rejects?

Before NGC started details grading for problem coins, you could send them to NCS for slabbing. For the conservation service, sucessfully conserved coins were sent to NGC for grading while ones that still had other issues went into NCS slabs.

Conservation can fix many problems w/o damaging the original surface. However, once a coin is cleaned, it can't be "fixed." So you may send a coin to them that has been cleaned in order to make it look a little nicer, remove PVC damage, corrosion, carbon spots etc. But it will still be a cleaned coin.

Coins return from NCS/NGC.The result is that 4 graded ms65,1 ms63 and one with altered color. The results were fantastic for 135$ include encapsulation. The ms65 were the highest graded. The job is astonishing. They reveal much of the red on cooper coins.

Yes, quite a dramatic difference. I would like to know just what they are doing to these coins if not 'cleaning' them themselves. Maybe the term "cleaning" is my blocker.

Oh, they're cleaning them. At least, it would be if you or I did it. If NCS does it, it's "conservation."

Those are my exact thoughts Dave.....

I just recently learned how to use the bold feature for emphasis....I love it (although I am probably getting carried away with it).

Oooooo....I really like that. I have new motivational focus now, and will have to learn how to do it.
