Could we see the rim "edge"? On these coins in this condition the rim "edge" is the brass ring.

Moe, were these pics taken through anything like a flip or is this the raw coin? Asking, because the pics show a line above the date, a possible RPM (?), curvy lines through the "n" and "t" of Cent on the reverse, plus the diagonal (shiny) line running from about 5:30 on the reverse up to near 10 or 11:00. The curvy lines look like they could be threads or something. There's also a line above and below the bottom of the right wheat stalk. As for the rim, is that a small ding about 6:00 on the obverse?

This is one beautiful coin and I'm not trying to pick it apart. If the issues described above are not part of the coin, then I would say you have a real shot at an MS66 or 67. I don't know enough about 68 to comment. Those grades seem to be reserved for trophy coins. I hope you have one. Let us know if you TPG it.

Excuse me now while I drool all over the page.

Color balance is off, try a calibration.

If not reprocessed, looks to be about 64/65.

New pictures: (color calibrated and with less cat hair on it!) It obviously still has the cross-coin line that came from who knows where? (I found it in a bag of steelies I got on ebay).

Wow! Don't know what they will do with the "cross coin line" on the reverse, but that is one nice cent. My guess is that the reverse line will hold it back to 64/65. There appears to be something on the rim at about 6:00 on the obverse too that the TPG may take notice of. Still doesn't change the fact that it's a great steeelie.
