At the suggestion of a member here, I bought a book called Paper Money of the United States 19th ed. It's incredible with color photos of many of the most beautiful notes in our history. I found out that there is actually a $100,000 bill.

Anyway, a must read.

Another great book if you don't own it already is Schwartz/Lindquist's "Standard Guide to Small-Size U.S Paper Money" It includes detailed info about all notes 1928-present.
