Found this last night going through my nephews change bottle. It's a little smaller then a US nickel and weighs 3.5g. It appears to be made of nickel.Any value? All input welcome, thanks much, John1
This looks to be mid-20th century to this oldtimer. It's likely listed in Atwood's transportation book. Just a guess, but GIB might be Grand Island Bridge near Niagara Falls, NY? An increase in the toll would explain the expiration of use. Most tokens from this era fall into the 25-50 cent range. Limited use might make this one more difficult for a collector to locate. I'd be surprised if it was worth more than say $5.
