Size would be helpful, but it looks like a commemorative token - a bit crude, at that. It it were a coin, it would have a denomination.

It's a fantasy piece. No such coin exists from a normal mint. It's an overseas copy more then likely meant to pass as silver or gold to be sold to tourists.

Sorry Go but why do you assume it's a foreign (non-US) piece and meant to dupe tourists? I'm sure there are a few unscrupulous people in the US capable of producing such low quality trash.

Yes, this is a contrived fantasy item that doubles as a commemorative memento. It was likely intended for tourists as GO said; and, probably sold at historical sites. It could have been made stateside or abroad where production costs are lower. Although worth next to nothing, such items can truly impress uninformed folks if the owner can concoct a yarn to spin when showing it!
