OK, so there's a new term I haven't heard. What is a slot half?

A vey worn half dollar that was used many times
in a slot machine. Usually found in quantity if one lives
nearby a casino. A few years ago many casinos stopped using half
dollar slots (the actual coins) and switched over to a pay card instead. I live in Mass. and found tons of these in bank rolls.
They made there way a little north from Foxwoods casino in Conn.
as well as from Mohegan Sun also in Conn.
Do not find as many now though. One sure tell tale sign is the outer rims worn smooth.
