It is typically found with a weak srike and dull luster. As you can see from the prongs, this coin has been graded by NGC. Report this Post to the Staff

The quality and intensity of luster in protected areas around the legends matches the luster in the open fields and that is not the case for AU coins. With the weak strike and assorted marks limiting the grade I'd guess MS-61 or MS-62. If NGC was unwilling to create wealth by calling it MS it should at least make AU-58. MS-63 I wouldn't be surprised if it got bumped to 62 due to the huge value difference but I think it really is 63, at least for the date. I fully agree with the range of grades already noted and could see this coin anywhere from AU53 to MS63 with 63 being very generous. Okay, my guess is AU58!
