Pulled a 1892 Indian Head cent out of a box of Canadian cents today. Very nice condition. Pretty much a full Liberty. Full shield on reverse...can even recognize the arrows. Is there any variety to look for with the 1892?

Here is the 1892 IHC:

Any ideas on possible grade? Thank you for looking.

That's a real cool find for a box from a bank!
By my eyes, this IHC looks once buried/corroded and cleaned.
Details look VF at least.

That's pretty cool!

That IHC has quite a story to tell on how it ended up in a Canadian box of cents!

When I pulled the coin from the roll it was full of gunk and crusty bits. I soaked it in peroxide for about 10 min and used a softened toothpick to gently remove the crusty bits. I haven't bought the wife any flowers lately to scavenge a few thorns from. The softened toothpick works well.

I imagine the coin would have a story to tell...now it ends with finding a home in my 2 x 2 and a comfy spot in my collection. All good things will come to a end. :)

Thanks for your grade opinion DV. I was thinking Vf as well. It may have been cleaned prior to making its way to me. As stated I did do some minor clean-up of the coin. Nothing corrosive or extreme. Just a short peroxide soak and the crusty bit removal. My best looking IHC to date.

Nice find, but I'm calling it F-details, corroded.

I said VF because I see separation between the headband and hair and feather details.
Course, it's a detail grade, etc. Cool find for a box of cents.
