These are real tough even in circulated grades and I seem to get outbid all the time.

What do you think? I more purchased this for my own enjoyment (never owned one) than resale, so I paid a little higher than I normally would have.

I also got this one quite cheap I believe (never had an 1897-O either):

And an 1894-O filler, but I've had a few of these.

I don't see a thing to be unhappy about. Even if you overpaid slightly, the numbers are inconsequential and easily covered by "I like this!" Definite cause for warm, fuzzy feelings IMO.

Yeah, I love key date barbers and from the teletrade prices $73 seems pretty good anyway, as long as its not cleaned up.

Yeah and the 1897-O + 1894-O should make up for it. I was really surprised to win the 1897-O, usually they go around $50+ even in that condition. ebay must be slow lately.

You got a nice deal on the 1895 P, easy G-6.

As long as it isn't cleaned.

Yep. I thought it had a good chance at VG. Just hoping its not cleaned. If it is, I'll return it or just flip it quickly.

It's a very nice coin. I'd say VG-8, maybe VG-8- and no cleaning
