Doubling On A 1835 Half Cent? - Coin Community Forum

madhandles761991 Pillar of the Community United States 577 Posts	Posted 08/08/2006 5:04 pm I was looking at my Half Cent under a microscope today when I noticed that there might be some doubling. While it is only apparent in the Half Cent part on the reverse, I think I might have an error here. Could I please have some expert help? Does not mean it does not exist .. some photos look like they have doubling some look like shelf doubling not sure with those pics.. Does look like the coin was soaked in olive oil for awhile.. and maybe some old corrosion around the letters or maybe a corroded die Report this Post to the Staff
