Just wanted to share my latest acquisition. This is the first $5 Indian I've owned. For $315 shipped to my door, I'm pretty sure I got a good deal on it.

I'm certain it's genuine. The weight and diameter are correct.

What do you think it would grade?

VF-30 with considerable wear on the obverse headband and lower feathers in the headdress and on the upper eagle wing feathers on the reverse.

But anything Gold is great!

no pro on these but to me it does have a cleaned look to it, none the less a beautiful coin.

VF30 sounds good to me. Great buy with over $300 in gold in it right now!

Thanks everyone!
The pics really brought out the hairlines. I didn't notice them until I photographed the coin. They seem to be worse on the reverse.

Nonetheless, I'm thrilled with it! For the price, I figured it would be hard to wrong.
