Today I got my first box of nickels and when I got home I discovered that the entire box is brand new 2010 d nickels. What should I do?

if you really dont want to keep them, sell them, you can get a decent profit off of them.

Recently on the bay, a box went for 150; incl. shipping. Whereas 5 single rolls brought 39.95. Of couse you always have the option of still searching. There is some crazy $$ being spent on FS.

Nice find on the box, I haven't found even one 2010 nickel yet! If I were you I would sell rolls individually and try to make some money.

sell them all on "the bay" and then buy a semi-key coin for yourself with the proceeds.

If you sell them on ebay, be very careful to set the minimum bid high enough to make it worth your while (i.e. make sure you know how much PayPal and ebay will take from you and how much shipping will cost you for the weight). I got a box of 2010D rolls right at the end of the crazy prices and sold rolls for as high as $30 (bid + ship) but a couple weeks later after I'd found two more boxes, I could barely sell P&D roll sets for enough to break even. I made maybe $25 on a solid box of 2010D's last month after I sold it for around 150. |

I released a box of 2010P back into the wild after I searched them personally
I kept 10 bucks worth for myself and found 2 blank planchets
2010P's are everywhere in my area now
prolly will happen to you to
i wanted to swap mine on here but not enough posts
if you can sell 'em quick before they are everywhere
