Hello,
I got a Dansco album today. It's so neat to have all the LCs in one binder. Just wanted to share. Now the life-long task of filling it begins....long way to go but I'm sure having fun searching through bank rolls. Love this site!

which one did you get? Lincoln Memorials only or with Wheat cents too? Proofs or no proofs? Either way have fun filling it up.

Hi bmanofnbc,
I got the 1909 through current date w/o proofs. It's nice that it has the large/small cent varieties which I never knew existed before finding CC! And yes, I am having fun. Thanks for your interest.

some of those varieties are next to impossible to find in circulation like the 1960-P small date, but then there are others like the 7 1982 varieties which are all pretty easy to find once you know the difference. If you get stuck on any of them just post some pictures and you'll get all the help you need right here at CCF.

I bought a Peace dollar Dansco and can't keep the coins in the holes. They're moving inside the album and getting rubbed raw. I'm going back to slabs.

carlcrneckiy Congrats on starting the Lincoln 7100. It is a album that can take a long time to complete, but is a lot of fun. carmykle - that is strange to hear that all your coins are lose in the album. I have seen where some albums have a lose coin or two. But not all. I would wonder what is wrong. My Peace dollar Dansco, still has five coins to be complete, all the coins fit just right. None move around.

Very nice and congratulations! Keep us updated with your progress. I have been working on mine over twenty years now with three to go. At this rate, you might be able to finish before I do.

carlcrneckiy: Congrats on getting your Lincoln Dansco. I have really enjoyed filling my Dansco albums and I am sure you will too! carmykle: I have a Peace dollar Dansco and mine fit just fine and do not move like GoldRush58's. I think you may have just got a bad album with holes cut just a little to big.

Where can I get a dansco online? How much should I expect to pay? How do they come?(1 album per coin, or different coins in 1 album)

All you Dansco people are starting to get to me. I really am getting outnumbered here and as a dedicated Whitman Album person, I'm wondering if I'm the last of my kind. Quote:I bought a Peace dollar Dansco and can't keep the coins in the holes. They're moving inside the album and getting rubbed raw. I'm going back to slabs. Don't worry about that. Lots of Whitman Albums do that also. It is usually the upper layer of paper covering the slots that somehow gets stretched out of shape and allo .s that are loose to slide out and all over the place. Unfortuately it is common with many manufacturers today of Albums except Dansco appears to have the least amount of that happening. Reported, that is. Hate to say this but in some instances I've switched to Dansco Albums just for that reason on some collections.

Thanks for the sites, just bought a 7070. Have seen some completed ones on here and they're awesome, haven't seen alot of the coins in them before. With the exeption of the additional pages what is the average cost to complete one of these? I realize the higher grade coin the higher the price, but does anyone know a round about price?
