Me and my girl were tearing through some 50 cent rolls last night, and the first roll I opened kept turning up wheat cents, 12 total, from one roll.

So, coin roll hunters, what are some of your best SINGLE rolls? any denomination.

I found 5 silver halves in a roll of 20 - so that's a 25% keep rate. I'd love to top that some time.

thats pretty good for a roll. I took a 2 boxes (100 rolls and found only 20 wheats and 20 canadian pennies and 30 2009 pennies. That is an extremely low for wheats. that is one in every 250

I found 10 rolls containing 198 40% halves once, so at least 8 of those were solid silver.

Yesterday I picked up a roll of halves and there were 6 40% silver kennedy's in there and 3 that I needed for my collection.
9 out of 20 keepers and 6 pre 70, I was floored. But, seeing the above posts, not so much a miracle as I thought

I got a bunch of solid wheat rolls
labeled as 1940's, 1950's, 1940's and 1950's
then the rest of the rolls in the same paper had like 50-75% wheats, the oldest being a 1916D
I separated the coins and had huge pile of wheat pennies on the floor I wish I took pictures but
I wasn't on this forum yet
all commons except a steel penny and a few pre 1930 pennies
