Die crack,yes.Cud ,no.Cuds happen around the edge of a coin.Die cracks do sometimes have a die chip along with it.Have you checked the glossary to the left of this page?Hope this helps you some,

I've done a lot more googling too. It's sounding like that other cent with the rim problem I posted about, the 2009 L magnetic, could be a "rim Cud" issue too.

By the way, does a die crack like on the coin I posted in this thread have any value - more than a penny that is? Enquiring minds want to know

Well thats a big fat bummer, ya live ya learn I'm not set up as self employed to be able to sell anyways. But if I found a Jackpot coin I would for sure so I could make a long distance move to where I need to be.

Lucky nephew! I've been really checking my pennies with those doubled ears key dates and I haven't found one as yet either (I don;t think) Sorry I didn't answer this sooner. Am having lots of computer issues. Had to reinstall everything from scratch and now can't get my scanner to load, so no more pics until I can sort the issues out
