Seemed quite nice for a corroded coin. Paid $1500 for a closely comparable one a year ago and returned it.

Large cents aren't my area but the price here looks market correct. I imagine you'd need to crack this one out or get it into a problem-free holder to realize much profit in the near future. The corrosion appears to be light and if it was graded problem-free, you've got a big winner.

The reason I bought it was because it just seemed very nice for a corroded coin. It may technically be corroded but I've seen much worse for around this price bracket.

Which product, by the way?

I've seen verdicare, but does this coin really need it? I don't see any verdigris. Or does it perform other functions?
