I come over from the stamp side now and again...

Got this at auction, it has a stamp history, wondered if it has any value and how much?

Thanks!

Looks VG+ with some rim damage. Value maybe $8, but definitely a cool coin!

I can't tell a lot from the scan on the hair, but I'm thinking a low VF with around a $25 dollar worth.

Stamp history is that 3c was a postage stamp back then, so one of these bought a stamp and a $3 gold piece bought a book of 100 of 'em.

I'll going with a G-6, worth around $20.

Lots of wear (possible polishing in the past?) with some bad rim dings.
