went to the coin shop to scavenge the 90% silver and no date buffalos for my restoration attempts.


i found about 18 good no date with MM examples, along with a stellar 1928-P with a very nice horn and some luster...finders keepers,,

i also pulled from the 200+ junk quarters @ 15x face($3.75) 4 decent quarters..

3x MS+ almost prooflike 64-d's with DDO (in god we trust) and a TYPE B reverse 1963-P! not a bad day for $20!

ok, so from what I have read on previous threads about the Type B reverse is that it was on years 1956-64 from the philly mint.

business strike coins were struck with the proof reverse instead. for example.. the leaves touch the letter A in Dollar, the arrows go behind the leaves, and there is a larger space between the ES in STATES...

any year goes from a decent premium if in MS+ condition as far as I know

Hmm. Based on the threads I've read I thought all of the coin shops were defunct. The real story here is someone bought something without a computer!
