I don't see anything out of the ordinary on those prices. They're all fairly common.

I can think of a couple of factors here. You are being offered $15.65 in face value for the equivalent of about $38.00 CDN.Most of these coins after the mid 50's have to be in MS condition to be worth more than face value. The exception would be the silver 10˘ and 25˘ 1937-1967 and some 1968.Without knowing condition or specific dates and varieties it is difficult to assess the value of this deal.

I have seen few if any Canadian coins sold in the U.S. for face value (U.S.). Occasionally, I will find them in the "bargain bins" but, they still are more than face value. The only exceptions would be perhaps the most recent coins. It's difficult for me to figure values when we're talking AUD vs CN vs U.S. So, I guess what I'm trying to mumble is are the coins a good deal for him in AUD and not face value CN. Does that make sense? I confused myself! ;-)

I was only trying to express the total price as a factor of face value but I hadn't considered what the value of any CDN coin might be outside of Canada. The other thing is that it's possible that a single coin could be worth more than the total price but without specifics we can't know that.

That's ok Bill...I understand your comments. It's difficult to see the value sometimes in our own Countries coins in other Countries, especially the more common and modern ones. For example, I will look at some U.S. quarters, for example, and see no value beyond face value but, someone in another Country get's all excited...go figure. That's what makes our coin collecting hobby go 'round and 'round. ;-) And, yes, without specifics on each coin it is difficult to judge whether bm1947 is getting a good value.

Thanks for your comments, have not decided what to do as yet.
Computer died late last week and so I purchased a new one and tried to restore backup, that also failed.
Anyway thanks again....might have some small change I can spend.
