Which address is blocked? Maybe you can replace the dots in the address with another symbol. http://www.coinsandcanada.com contain some information on canadian coins. You can also buy a book like the Charlton.

Quote: Which address is blocked? Maybe you can replace the dots in the address with another symbol. You could certainly do that, if you want to really make the Staff here mad. Do you think we block things so that you can encourage people to figure out ways around our block?

Go to any book store or library and pick up a copy of Charlton's "Canaadian Coins". Haxby also has a similar book.

AAAAHHHHHH....OK, so it's either a competing site or is in direct competition for revenue. Now I understand. I hit myself with the 2x4 that time.
Just curious MODS, how do we tell? Is there a list somewhere?

They relentlessly spammed this site under many different IDs. For their incredible perseverance they've won themselves an all expenses paid trip to the bad word filter. 95% of the time that's the case when a site is in the filter.

As I said, sometimes you need a 2x4 to get my attention. I had no idea. I'm no teetotaler but come on....no one really cares what you have to say when it's laced with obscenities.
I am amazed though, the younger generation actually believes that using foul language helps to accentuate your point. Most don't realize that is totally disrupts any chance for real discourse.
Thanks for clearing that up Admin.

You misunderstand. They weren't using foul language. The owners kept registering under different IDs and obnoxiously posting link after link to their site. I'd lock the ID and they'd create another next week and do the same thing. So I put the domain name in the bad word filter so it can't be posted by anyone now.
