....for a few weeks
Well, I'll be leaving around 10:00 GMT time, which is 1 pm Kuwait time.
I will be back by around September 4th or so.
When I have a chance to go on I will update my trip on this thread.
We have everything, my coins locked up safely and my guitar packed in.
-We will leave the house at 1 pm KWT time.
-The flight from KWT to Dubai will be at 4 pm or so.
-Stop over at Dubai for a few hours and then fly to Kenya for around 4-5 hours.
-My mothers lifelong BEST friend lives there with her family, he son infact is a good friend of mine, we will be picked up by them on Saturday.
WIll look at flea markets, Masai Markets, Street Shops for coins. Will pick up ALOT of circulating currency for my coin family(That meant you guys)

Have a wonderful and safe time "kid". We hope to hear from you while you're on your travels and will be anxious to see what kind of "goodies" you find! Dubai is known as a "Shoppers Paradise"! This sounds like a fascinating journey!
BB: Dubai is located in the United Arab Emirates' and is next to Africa.

I have 10 dirham from the United Arab Emirates that may cousin gave me when he came home from Iraq and got married on my birthday August 1

Well, Were on a transit flight, we only just stopover at Dubai.
We won't be having our vacation their!

Dubai is nowhere near Africa.It is near Iran.Thekidcollector,don't forget to look out for the Kenyan bimetal 40 Shillings coin.I am missing this coin.Are you going to visit Uganda & Tanzania as well? You'd have to get some coins & banknotes from there as well.

have fun Kid and becarful there are always people looking to take advantage of people who are traveling. keep your money seperate from your wallet in fact keep some in different pockets.. post some pics when you get back .. And tell us of the adventures you have..
