Can anyone ID this coin? Both sides are identical to the picture. This makes me think that this isn't a coin, but some sort of token.

It was bought in a box of various foreign coins. They were mostly European, but there were a lot of Taiwanese coins in it.

I believe it's a Japanese pachinko/pachisuro token - for use in a peculiarly Japanese form of gambling machine. See old threads here and here for tokens of similar (though not the same) design.
