Doesn't this look like a good deal for a proof 1856 FE Cent? ( ebay)
Has the market gotten that soft? Not that I have the money or anything.

Must have, price and pop reports have it $1500 higher but latest auction of a 62 was only a little over $12500.

12,500 is the price Rick Snow is asking for circulated 1856s in EF45.
It just got my attention, because I remember 1856 proofs going higher.

That's where Brandon from Anaconda ended up. One of the best coin photographers out there, and some very nice pieces. Man, I would love to have that 1838 Coronet cent in my type set!
