Toning looks OK to me, I don't see anything suggesting artificial toning.

With asking price of 70$ I do get suspicious.

I always say I would never buy a Trade dollar raw but if their buy price is 70.00 and they have a return policy I maybe would take a chance on this one to weigh it and stuff to check authenticity. These forgers are getting better and better at their minting process and usually the main way to tell them is by weight because as far as I know they still haven't perfected their planchets

Yep-they accept returns and paypal as well.Asking price exactly 79.00$Ive made mistake before.Diameter 38mm,weight 27g.Trouble is I don't know any person in UK who can examine coin like this and I don't have enough experience to do it.Can be tricky for me.

Are they from China? If so dont buy. Obverse surfaces definitely look off to me

The staggered mintmark (in height, i.e., right side is higher) is a definite no-no.

oh yeah, I would never buy a Trade dollar from China probably not even if it was in a top TPG slab because those have been copied as well. I hate to categorize the whole country but its just not worth the risk to me
