My friend put was paying for his jumbo sized dubble bubble bag of gum and tried to put a 1935 D bill in. I nearly broke his hand and made a scene by grabbing it from him as he was about to put it in . He quoted "dude how am I gonna get gum". I told him about the bill and complained about how he wanted it back after he said I could keep it so I gave him a 5 dollar bill and told him to shut up. I know I lost money because the bill isn't worth it but to me it is. But I love finding things like this in circulation.

With the economy the way it is there are going to be quite a few older bills showing up. Mostly common bills, but you never know!

No problem! We all make mistakes. Your post was moved to the proper section. All is good.
