I got this coin off ebay for $.99. I bought it as a 2006 Proof Roosevelt dime, but it doesn't have the mirrored fields as other modern proofs have. Anyways, let me know what you think the grade would be or if there are any issues with it.

Well its definitely a proof, just a hazy one, as far as grade goes, the lack of eye appeal might drop it down to a 68 but I dont think a modern proof would go much further down from that unless it was handled alot.

Oh, I should add that it's a silver proof.

Well all I can say is it is one of the worst Proofs I have seen for a modern issue. Although Roosevelt proofs are only minted in San Francisco the mint mark indicates a proof, but someone had to have either wiped it down or removed from a proof set knowing it would not grade very well.

That's basically what I wanted to hear, I was wondering why it didn't look like most other modern proofs. At least it only cost me $.99
