Really want to sell this coin but not sure how much to ask for or its grade, so if someone could tell me how much its worth and its grade that would be great.

Very nice 1872!
For me, the hair/ribbon separation would put this at EF40; the lack of full diamonds keeps it from EF45.
I cannot tell if that is due to strike--sometimes it is.

I was actually going to say EF-40, but the bold strike, at least on the lettering and clean fields may make it an EF-45. I agree that usually to be an EF-45, all 4 diamonds should be present, but another positive attribute such as the clean fields or strong strike may raise it to EF-45.

Great thanks, how much would you estimate it to be worth?

Here's Rick Snow's retail price guide. Your coin is the bold N reverse.

Definitely $600-$650...unless you need fast cash and go with a coin shop.
