I voted once a week since that was the closest to right, but really I get rolls of coins on my paydays, 2 week pay cycles.

I never get rolls of coins but that's probably because I'm still pretty new to coin collecting. I was actually going to pick up a roll or two during my next trip to the bank though.

as a Lincoln Cent collector I'm averaging close to a box (2,500) a week.being nice too;as well as; being known; to the tellars offers me the option of; new rolls(when they got em),circulated bank wrapped and merchant/customer deposited rolls.from the sheer numbers I go through, it's nice to be able to pick and choose what i'll search through next.. .for a change he he. they also let me know when the new nickles and quarters are in: whole rolls of these are either searched through or just put away as ' investments '. Direct deposit and on-line banking really keep me away from the bank. I rely on the circulated change my wife brings home from shopping. Unfortunately it's pretty substantial.

I go maybe once every two weeks. My bank got one of those coinstar machines and it is free to members so it makes it alot easier because rolling coins you have already checked is no fun.

funning this was brought up. I just got 8 rolls of nickels today. I get them about once a week or every other week. I took back 8 rolls of nickels and just asked the teller for 8 more. in those 8 rolls I found 2 1946 and 1 1954 that is the only old ones but these 8 rolls were very good to me.

So far I have only spent 10-12 dollar on nickel rolls, I have exchanged them I think 3 times and I have all but 3 nickels from 1962-2006. the ones I am missing are all Phillie mint. my bank care Denver. I am having fun putting my nickel set togther this way. So either later this week or next I will change them in and get new ones.

Questian for the others how do this. Do oyu usally take your rolls to the bank or do you use a coinstar machine. Also if you take rolls back do you ussaly wait tell your next visit to get new rolls or just do it right then. The teller look at me a little funny today when I turned in 8 rolls and ask if I could get another 8.

I reroll my coins, and deposit them at one bank. Then, I go to the bank across the street to get some new ones. That way I don't search coins I've already been through.

And that way you also don't annoy the tellers who gave you the rolls to begin with! I don't know why, but it really bugs me when I go fetch rolls for someone only to have them brought back a few days later. Of course, we started charging to count coin, so that cuts down on the coin coming back- we have to open rolls to count them. (BTW- I voted "never"!)
