The "law of unintended consequences" is working overtime. My ill-timed tirade has sent a flood of people to my ebay listings which, unfortunately for me this week, are nothing but poorly photographed, scruffy, fire-sale, dog meat, barf-ola coins. They all look like they were cast from cement. No dazzlers at all this week. There must be a LOT of non-members that look in on this forum!

Lol, I would have just done it anonymously. Good for you on telling him off, though. I don't take... er 'you know what' from anyone. I'll go off on foolish sellers but I've got to make sure to block them in the future, even if the exchange is relatively civil because there are so many chumps out there who get their ego hurt and would try to take revenge by ruining my feedback like that last guy.

My Mom always said, "You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar".

My Grandmother used to always say "keep your words tender because you never know when you are going to have to go back and eat them". Allot of wise little sayings from the older generation

Ummm...I was trying to shoo this fly away, NOT catch him!

Also...my mom always said, "Hey! Put the lid back on the honey when you're done with it!"

I always wondered why people wanted to catch flies in the first place. I always try to kill them, and if I can't do that, chase them away...

I think that it has something to do with baseball and balls hit in the air.
I suppose you could catch them with honey on them but if the runner tags up and takes a base, they might keep going. A ball covered with honey is going to be very difficult to throw for a put out.
I think it might be a slight advantage to actually catch flies with vinegar on them, if you wanna win a baseball game.

11/04/10 - Gosh. I guess I just really attract THEM.

I just received another unsolicited CAUSTIC COMMENT from an ebay buyer. He commented on a RESTORED 1913-S T2 nickel I currently have for sale on ebay. He said, "Why did you ruin this coin? Was it worthless before you did it? It is worthless now or worth a nickel." Arrrgghhhhh!! Must curb desire to retaliate....!! ....want so bad to ask him if he is assuming that I am a MORON who just randomly goes around ruining perfectly good 1913-S T2 nickels.... ....fighting the urge to unload on him.... ....I am....weak..... ....HELP!!... ....please help before I yield to temptation.... ....arrrggghhhhhh....
