I've been holed away in my back room working on getting my collection in order for the past month. My wife has not really been all that interested.

Last night I mentioned getting a metal detector (a real one) and her eyes lit up!! "One of those nice $1000 ones?". Apparently she's been looking :) I said that was a bit steep but yeah a nice one.

I do believe I'm in the biz

She may have been holding out (metal detecting) on you while you were preoccupied with your collection.

I opt for the potential jewelry finds. Nothing like a little "bling" to put the sparkle in your wives eye.

She's always been a fan. She bought the cheapo we have.

I showed her the ACE 250 and the youtube video and she said she's got that in cash. Hold out for a GT?

There's this spot behind my house where I had to do some ditch work. I found a 44 Liberty dime VF/EF...just digging! All that loose dirt to sweep :)

The Ace250 is a great little machine, but if the wife is thinking about a better more powerful model how can you let her down?

That's great mate It is good to have your wife on your side,I think I'm just as lucky as you with my wife saying it was O.K. to buy two new detectors,I posted a photo of them on the detecting finds thread.

Don't forget to sing low and slow.

regards Harry
