This is actually the infamous blood cent of Mary d'Sglise, a French immigrant refugee who killed her boss after endless hours churning out shells at a U.S. factory during WWII. Some say the boss, Thomas Park, had it coming, but Mary still died in prison for her time.
The coin was found in Thomas' pocket at the county morgue. To this day, some say that if the penny is brought to any factory floor, the eye sockets will glow red and unearthly eyes within will watch the holder's every move.
