My girlfriend purchased these coins at a garage sale for a 2 dollars each. The lady selling them claimed she paid 50 each (canadian dollar). I'm just looking to see if anyone has any information on these because guests at our house are quite interested by them. Thanks,

Mike

The one on the bottom I think is a Chinese Key charm or coin.

These are modern editions of fanciful designs. They are not coins, or old, and don't really resemble the original item.

The top one is a charm of some kind.

The bottom one is a replica of an extremely rare 10,000 cash "coin" issued by Wang Mang, the usurper emperor who reigned from 9 to 22 AD. The square part is supposed to be at the bottom. There are no genuine examples listed on zeno.ru, but this fake one is.
