I picked up a strap today of what I thought was new $20 bills. They turned out to be New 1950B 20's.
There are 25 Sequential bills and the serials are as follows
B03970001 B03970002 B03970003 B03970004 B03970005 B03970006 B03970007 B03970008* B03970009* B03970010* B03970011* B03970012* B03970013* B03970014* B03970015* B03970016* B03970017* B03970018* B03970019* B03970020* B03970021* B03970022* B03970023* B03970024* B03970025*
Like I said they are in Pristine condition! They look UC. Are they worth anything? should I hold on to them?

Is that run right? I though when they replace notes with stars they aren't consecutive with the rest of strap. They eliminate the error SN and replace it with a new one. Whenever I've found stars in a CU strap the SN are way off from the non stars.

They have to be fake, SN ranges for 1950B series B-* twenties are B05443924*-B07517857*

These notes were printed sometime between 1957 and 1961 on 18 note sheets. Maybe those 18 stars replaced the last 18 notes listed.....What was the suffix on the first 7 notes out of this 25?

The title of this topic says 25 consecutive star notes, so maybe the poster just omitted the stars on the first 7 notes.

That is good enough for me....while we are waiting for pictures from jk2005, and since you have the book out, could you tell me what might be said about this note? I realize that it is neither rare or particularly valuable, but I have virtually no interesting info on it.

Book says 128k printed and in that condition it's flirting with the $600 mark. I have the same note... minus the star :(
