Can anyone help me identify a coin I found in change, the same size as a US quarter, on one side a stylized head that appears to be of a viking with a semi-circle of stars on the under side of the head, and the other side has 4 characters that are not recognizable as either arabic or asian, the last character is a capital "I", and a full circle of stars on the outer edge. I'm guessing it's a token and the characters may be runes. I would appreciate any info.

Wow that sounds interesting. It'd help to see some pics even if they are blurry.

Well it's defiantly some sort of fantasy token. I've never seen one quite like this before.

I wish the characters had shown up better in the photo, because they are nothing like I have seen before.

It may be a Mardi Gras token. I know a Krewe that uses the Viking image.

The script on the other side is Japanese. It's presumably a pachinko token from a pachinko parlour with a Viking theme. Do a forum search for "pachinko" to see threads with numerous other types of these tokens.
