Have 2 Promotional Token, Carmel Financial Corporation. They look and weigh up like silver, to I'm not sure what they are made of. Anyone have any idea when they might have been made and for what? Are they silver? They are each numbered differently. I used these pictures from ebay, that are not mine. I just have 2 of the same tokens and could not get nearly as good a picture. Serious doubt they are silver as it's an advertisement piece. Luckily there is any easy way to find out more information about these because you can call the 800 number

Here's another pic. Doesn't look silver. They have a toll-free #. Give them a call.

I did call them, they say it was from the 1980's and are silver, but the women I chatted with was not positive as they where before her time with the company. Need to find a way to test it to be sure. It's either silver or plate...

For what it's worth, before I read anything, I felt the pic was a silver coin. I've had a lot of years of experience with a lot of coins.

They give loans so you can buy items that are extra's in life not some thing that one needs from "their" store. They have a BBB rating and probably only correct complaints enough to keep the rating. In some states they are also a payday loan shark! As with everything there are some that don't care for them. keep your hand over your wallet, and Buyer be ware! they get to charge for the product and then interest on your loan. double dipping twice the profit!
