Wow

GO thinks he should buy in bulk now and resell for a hefty profit.

Yes, they are crazy, or at least uneducated on what a gram is.

Or it may be the bar has collectible value, just the way rare coins do. Some bars sell for insane prices above their spot.

I'm thinking the bidders don't understand how little a gram actually is.

I clicked on "enlarge", and I noticed the legend says that this piece is "1...ONE TROY GRAM...1".
Obviously a Troy Gram is a lot more ... special ... than an ordinary gram.
And the bidders understand this.

"Fools and their money ..."

ebay is a great place! Where else can you buy gold bullion at platinum prices?

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?rt=nc&L...3286.c0.m301

Selling grams of silver, gold and platinum at 10-20% over spot has been a long running scam on ebay. It really feeds on peoples ignorance.

I don't think it's possible to get bullion at spot price on ebay because of the fee's. I wish I knew a better way to get a hold of silver coins. I need to start looking harder.

Don't give up lukkyseven, if you search hard enough and long enough you do get a steal once in a while!
