First off, this is what you are playing for. Dateless type 1 Standing Liberty quarter! She's slicker than snot on a glass doorknob, but still 90% silver 1917 Standing quarter. I made a recent purchase today, filling in the last of my gold type set! If you've seen my 7070 thread, you will notice that I still have a couple of holes to fill on my 3 gold pages. Also, I have already completed the basic type set, so am working on filling those random remaining holes with more unconventional gold coinage. The first person to guess what my LATEST addition to that album is will win the SLQ slicker!(I will mail it in a stamped envelope). I may give clues along the way if someone doesn't guess it right away. First clue: The coin is raw. Have at it! Edit to add: Each player is limited to 2 guesses per 24 hour time period. (ie your 3rd guess must be at least 24 hours from you first guess etc..) Here is the album as it stands right before my latest addition. Edited by johnny54321 10/15/2010 02:16 am

Thank you Scooby! The answer is incorrect, but I will allow an additional guess if you want since I dont think I posted up to date pictures of the gold portion. I also realized that I couldnt update that thread, so I will post pictures of my gold type set as it stands now in my first post.
As you can see, there are 2 remaining holes. One of these holes will be filled with my newp when it arrives. Since my definition of the basic gold type set is complete, my new addition differs from what one would consider a normal "type coin". I will say that it is gold and that it fills a hole.

You guys are in the ballpark, but not quite. Remember that this coin differs from the conventional type coin.

wazzappenning: Nope. It's a bit more "outside the box". thank you for guessing(that was your second for the day). I need to stop showering the clues...:-P I do have a regular type 3 and type 2(slab on the cover). The coin is somewhat similar but drastically different at the same time.
edit: since the quote "2 guesses per day" can be different depending on where you are from, I am changing it to "2 guesses within a 24 hour time period" to hopefully make it less confusing.
