i know I will be jumping onto these but most likely not from the mint. their premium is a little high for the coins on top of the silver.

If money wasn't an issue for me right now......I think I would make an "attempt" to get a collection of these.
But, most likely, due to the high price of Silver, and bad economy around here, I'll probably just get a Yellowstone one, and maybe another one or two throughout the program.
But in no way can I afford to buy ALL of these for the next ten/eleven years of the program..... which might be even longer than that.

I question those buying these with "investment" in their heads though. Because buying something like silver when it's at record high prices, to me, is just asking for a letdown, when the silver prices start trending and tumbling downward again.....like we know they eventually will.
These 5oz coins may well just follow the spot price in the future and be treated just like a Franklin Mint Silver Round, with little numismatic appreciation at all ! I would hope not.....but I thinks it's quite possible ! .....

Wait a minute, I thought they decided to reduce the weight and size of the coins. If they're only 2 1/2 ounces, you just might be able to do the whole collection. I'm starting to think that your assessment as them being treated like Franklin Silver Rounds might be right on target.
