I'd like some help on this tonight. Which one is more valuable? Is it the small 5/5 or the large 5/5 for 1885? Charlton's 2011 guide and Canadian Coins News trends don't agree. Which one is right?

Well, that's a start. Thank you! But there must a silver five cent collector on the forum that can pin it down and solve the mystery. Have a good evening!

Well.... the 2010 Charlton, gives it 1885 S5/5 and L5/5 the same price, there are 7 or 8 varieties in the back of the catalogue, and they are mostly around the same price.

Hope this helps some..

Recent trends put the small 5 5/5 well ahead of the large 5 5/5. The 2011 Charlton's says the opposite. Well, anyway, thanks for the input!

Yeah... sometimes I wonder about the Charlton and Trends prices.

A lot of there prices never seems to be the same.
