on the reverse to the right of the bldg. Nice strike for a 54S but I bet it still lacks most of the step detail. She's a nice one.

Rev. is weak, maybe 3 steps that aren't full. It's the luster that strikes me.

wow the best I have found in box's in that state was 64. and it seems that hard times hit a lot of folks here in Tucson cause I am finding everything from 38-09 here now. I dont think I found a 1/4 of what I find now in the past

Always makes me wonder where coins such as this have been hiding all these years ...... Geepers ..... this is a 56-year old AU coin showing up now.

Reverse is almost always weak on these as well as 53 S and the 52 S.
3 steps on a 54 S is very hard to find. This might be as good as it gets as far as lucky finds go. Most would overlook this but a nickel collector will know this is not your ordinary Jefferson. Nice one. A keeper.
